Craft Beer Restaurant Staff

Part-time & Full-time Positions Available

Nantahala Brewing is hiring a live sound technician to oversee our live music venue at our taproom in Bryson City, NC. Duties include: maintaining, improving and operating the sound and audio equipment for live concerts, speeches and other events. The job includes managing the speakers, cables, sound board, managing microphones, audio filters, audio mixer consoles, equalizers and reverb devices during a live performance or function.

 

Must be able to work Friday and Saturday nights from 6 pm until 11 pm, March through October. Must also be available for our annual “Week(s) of Rock” the last week of June thru the first week of July and Sunday’s on holiday weekends (memorial day, labor day, etc.).

 

Pay based on experience. Additional opportunities to work with our brewing team and/or taproom team may be available for the right candidate.

 

Entry Level Cellar/Packaging Position

Part-time & Full-time Positions Available

A full-time entry level packaging and cellar position in the craft brewing industry. Great work environment in the Great Smoky Mountains for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual. Qualified applicants must be able to work safely in a fast paced production environment, lift 50 to 75 pounds repeatedly using traditional lifting methods, frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and stand in wet and extreme cold conditions throughout shift.  Mechanical ability and experience in a production brewing environment a plus. Variable shift schedule depending on production needs.

 

Beer-tenders/Brew Guides

Part-time & Full-time Positions Available

We are seeking motivated, friendly, guest service oriented Brew Guides to support our expanding Tap Room and lead our Tours and Tastings experience. Brew Guides act as Nantahala Brewing craft beer ambassadors who are responsible for providing guests with a positive Tap Room experience and beer education during our tours. Tour content includes an in-depth body of knowledge, including the history and culture of craft beer, Nantahala Brewing’s history and brewing process, beers and beer styles, related terminology, and ingredients. A passion for all things craft beer and a commitment to continuous learning, are essential. Our Tap Room is a full-service libation experience and previous beer, liquor and wine pouring experience is preferred. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK DAYS AND NIGHTS
